导师简介
Dr. Bingchen Yu于2014年毕业于山东大学药学院,获得药学学士学位;2018年在佐治亚州立大学化学系获得有机化学与药物化学博士学位。自2019年起,他先后在佐治亚州立大学和加州大学旧金山分校从事博士后研究。2023年,他加入佐治亚州立大学化学系,担任助理教授。Dr. Yu 实验室有现有两个NIH funding,科研资金充足。
迄今为止,Dr. Yu在包括Nature Chemistry, Chem, JACS, Angewandte Chemie和Chemical Science 在内的高影响因子学术期刊上,以第一作者或共同作者身份发表了40篇论文,其研究成果被引用近2000次,展现了他在有药物化学,化学生物学和蛋白药物领域的卓越贡献。

Dr. Bingchen Yu graduated from the School of Pharmacy, Shandong University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, and obtained his Ph.D. in Organic and Medicinal Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry at Georgia State University (GSU) in 2018. Since 2019, he has conducted postdoctoral research at both Georgia State University and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). In 2023, he joined the Department of Chemistry at Georgia State University as an Assistant Professor.
Dr. Yu’s laboratory currently holds two NIH grants, ensuring strong research funding support.
To date, Dr. Yu has published 40 peer-reviewed papers as first or co-author in high-impact journals such as Nature Chemistry, Chem, Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS), Angewandte Chemie, and Chemical Science. His work has been cited nearly 2,000 times, demonstrating his outstanding contributions to medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, and protein therapeutics.
Dr. Yu is not only an exceptional scholar but also an inspiring mentor. 1. 利用扩展密码子技术结合邻近触发反应机制,实现蛋白的共价交联,用于深入研究蛋白-蛋白、蛋白-糖以及蛋白-RNA相互作用机制。
2. 通过设计并优化小分子探针,探索和解析蛋白-蛋白相互作用的结构与功能关系。
3. 药物化学。抗病毒药物以及离子通道激活剂开发。
4. 新型高通量药物筛选平台的设计和开发。

1. Developing covalent protein crosslinking strategies by combining genetic code expansion and proximity-enabled reaction mechanisms.
2. Designing and optimizing small-molecule probes to elucidate structure–function relationships in protein–protein interactions.
3. Medicinal chemistry: development of antiviral drugs and ion channel activators.
4. Design and development of novel high-throughput drug screening platforms.
Dr. Yu’s research is highly interdisciplinary, integrating organic chemistry, molecular biology, and computational sciences.

本课题组拥有化学合成实验室和细胞培养实验室,配备完善的实验仪器和设施,可支持有机合成、分子生物学、蛋白表达与纯化、细菌培养以及哺乳动物细胞培养等多领域研究工作。课题组拥有自己的LC-MS/HPLC、多台自动过柱机、PCR仪、Nanodrop、成像系统(imaging system)以及生物安全柜(safety cabinet)。
此外,佐治亚州立大学化学系设有多个科研中心,例如诊断与治疗中心(The Center for Diagnostics and Therapeutics)和疾病分子基础研究项目(Molecular Basis of Disease Program),并配备一流的公共实验平台(core facilities)。这些平台包括:

The Yu Lab houses both chemical synthesis and cell culture laboratories, equipped for various research areas such as organic synthesis, molecular biology, protein expression and purification, bacterial culture, and mammalian cell studies.
Facilities in the Yu lab include LC-MS/HPLC, multiple automated chromatography systems, PCR machines, Nanodrop, imaging systems, and biosafety cabinets.
GSU’s Department of Chemistry also hosts multiple research centers—such as the Center for Diagnostics and Therapeutics (CDT) and the Molecular Basis of Disease (MBD) Program—as well as shared core facilities, including:
